For my High School Senior Project, I created an autonomous car. I did not create a full-size self-driving Prius, such as the one by Google. I chose a simpler route and converted a small remote-controlled car into a small microcontroller-controlled car. This project involved hardware assembly, embedded software programming, and the other 80% of the time was spent just making the thing work. I feel the car was a success; it did not do everything I'd hoped it would, but it did succeed in driving itself without human interaction.
To view the result of this project,
this post contains two videos. One is my presentation of the car, and the other is a set of clips of the car in action.
